Q: My class starts and ends at a time not reflected on the schedule. What then?
Be sure to select and book slots that cover your start and end time. For example, if your class starts on Monday at 1:00 pm and you want a 75 min session ending at 2:15 pm, simply book a 12:15pm and 1:40pm slot for your class. Then in the Notes field include the exact start and end time for that class.
Q: Ooops. I scheduled a class but picked the wrong date/time. How do I cancel it?
No problem! You'll receive a confirmation email for the scheduled class that contains a link which will allow you to cancel the class. Simply click on that link to cancel and clear out your misscheduled class.
Q: I booked my classes, but I don't see them on the Calendar. When will my class show up on the Calendar of Scheduled Library Classes?
Don't worry! Your classes are indeed booked for the date/time you want. These bookings won't show up on the Calendar until our instruction scheduler assigns a librarian to teach your class. The scheduler will input info about your class and assignment into the Calendar and then email that info to the assigned librarian.
Q: The date/time picker isn't letting me pick what appears to be an open booking slot. Help!
Yes, technology isn't perfect and in this case it's a browser issue. Clear your browser's cache and restart the browser.
Q: I'd like to schedule a Friday class or a Saturday class. Can I do that?
Yes, depending on library faculty schedules and availability. Please contact our Library Instruction scheduler, Stephen Dingman, @ 486-0567 to see if we can arrange a class.
Q: I want to book a class tomorrow. Can I do that?
Sorry, but librarians need ample time to prepare lesson plans and resource guides for your assignment.
