Early Chidhood-Developmental research by Alison Gopnik, PhD on what do babies think;
Squire & Kandel concerning neurobiology of memory;
Loftus, Palmer & Bernstein regarding recovered memories and recall accuracy;
Accardi & Cavallaro on hypnotism and EEG studies;
Center for Disease Control and Prevention data and demographics on suicide and self injury;
Latane & Darley v. Manning et al regarding Kitty Genovese, bystander effect;
Zimbardo & Milgram on Stanford Prison Study, Abu Gharib, obedience, and authority figures.

Each of the above authors and research documents are of critical interest to our course.New ones may be added by the students if they so choose (with appropriate pre-arrangement with this instructor).As the Chair of the Department of Psychology has made clear, use of PsycArticles is one of the most important competencies within our SLO.
