Dow Jones Industrial Average The Dow Jones Industrial Average also called DJIA, the Industrial Average, the Dow Jones, the Dow Jones Industrial, ^DJI, the Dow 30 or simply the Dow, is a stock market index, and one of several indices created by Wall Street Journal editor and Dow Jones & Company co-founder Charles Dow.
NASDAQ The Nasdaq Stock Market is an American stock exchange. It is the second-largest exchange in the world by market capitalization, behind only the New York Stock Exchange located in the same city.
S&P 500 The Standard & Poor's 500, often abbreviated as the S&P 500, or just the S&P, is an American stock market index based on the market capitalizations of 500 large companies having common stock listed on the NYSE or NASDAQ.

Prime Rate A prime rate or prime lending rate is an interest rate used by banks, usually the interest rate at which banks lend to favored customers—i.e., those with good credit.
Fed Funds Target Rate The federal funds target rate is determined by a meeting of the members of the Federal Open Market Committee which normally occurs eight times a year about seven weeks apart.
3-Month London Interbank The London Interbank Offered Rate is the average of interest rates estimated by each of the leading banks in London that it would be charged were it to borrow from other banks.
Interest Rates (includes 30 year fixed mortgage) It is a mortgage loan with a 30-year repayment term and a fixed rate of interest. The interest rate is determined when you first take out the loan, and it stays the same over the entire 30-year repayment term. It does not change.
