Use the tips throughout this LibGuide to check your own claim, or use one of the claims listed below for practice. 

Remember, fake news articles may fall under multiple categories and might even mix in a few facts amid their falsehoods.

For this exercise:

1.  please write down each step you take to verify your story, then

2.  write a short paragraph explaining if you found the source to be credible or not, and if you would use this source in a paper you were writing on the subject.  If yes, you would use it for a research paper, explain why.  If no, you would not use it for a research paper, explain that also.
