The KidSpot area is available for booking by SAC faculty, staff, and students only.
Need to schedule an event in the Library KidSpot specifically for student parents, early childhood education, child development center, and family events? We'd love to host you! The KidSpot is located on the 3rd floor of Moody Learning Center and can accommodate up to 30 attendees with seating for children and adults.
If you have an event with more than 30 attendees or need a space to configure multiple tables and chairs, we encourage you to look at booking the Library Performance Area on the MLC 4th floor or contact Facilities (Campus Logistics) to assist you in selecting a more appropriate venue for your event.
Steps to Request an Event Booking:
- Select a date. You can only select one date at a time so if your event spans multiple dates or repeats, you will need to repeat the process for each date (if more than 3 dates, add to notes the date and times needed).
- Select as many timeslots as you need in order to cover the actual event plus setup and cleanup. (Example: If your event is scheduled from 9-10:30, then select timeslots 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 to allow for setup and cleanup. This also provides some padding between your event and other events which may also be taking place on the same day.)
- You will receive an automatic reply via email to let you know that the coordinator is reviewing your request.
- The coordinator will review and either approve or deny your request within two working days. You will receive a confirmation email with more information. If approved, your event will appear on the Library Classes & Events calendar.
- The confirmation email contains a cancellation link for your event. Please save these emails until after your event has occurred in case you need to cancel.
