Student Team Member – Work-study job description
JOB DUTIES:
• Completes patron loan and return transactions
• Maintains stack collections to include shelving materials, shelf reading, and shifting materials as needed
• Answers telephone and assists callers with inquiries or refers callers to appropriate library unit for assistance. Provides general information to visitors and callers regarding procedures, services, hours, location of materials, etc.
• Assists with processing library materials
• Assists library users with printing and copying
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Ability to provide quality customer service
• Ability to use a personal computer and associated software
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, and students
