Checking out items

1. To check out items, an individual must have one of the following:

  • An Alamo Colleges District ID card and be currently active as identified by Alamo Colleges District.

  • A TexShare Card issued by your public library.

3. An item can be renewed in the following ways:

  • In person: Bring the item along with your Alamo Colleges District ID card to the Circulation Desk on the third floor in Moody Learning Center
  • By telephone: Call 210-486-0554
  • Online: Go to Library Discovery and sign in to your account using your ACES username and ACES password
  • An item with a hold on it may not be renewed.

4. To place a hold on items checked out, go to the Circulation Desk on the third floor in Moody Learning Center for assistance.

5. Fees:

  • No refunds are given for paid lost items.
  • Lost Item Fees are paid at the SAC Business Office after obtaining a payment form on the fourth floor in Moody Learning Center, room MLC 409.
