The Library currently maintains a search tool, Discovery, which consists of thousands of records documenting the resources available to the SAC community, and its affiliates. These resources include print books, DVDs, CD-ROMs, U.S. government documents, as well as links to ebooks, emedia, and online articles from many of the subscription databases.
The current Discovery is shared by all five Alamo Colleges libraries and the location, call number, and circulation status of an item is displayed to viewers. Most links to electronic resources will require an off-campus user to login with their ACES username and Banner ID to access the content of the item.
Each of the five libraries maintains its own materials collections, including subscription databases. This means off-campus access to some online resources will be available ONLY to a specific college's current students, staff and faculty. To gain access to restricted resources, you may visit the library that owns/subscribes to the resource you want to use.
