Use AND and OR to connect words.

When using both AND and OR, put the ORs in parenthesis.

Use the * symbol to get different endings for a word. For example, alcohol* will retrieve alcohol, alcoholic, alcoholics, and alcoholism

Examples of keyword searching:

• recycling
• energy drinks
• Alzheimer's
• diabetes and prevention
• diabetes and prevention and pregnan*
• global warming or climate change
• ocean* and pollution
• ocean* and plastic* and pollution
• marine pollution

You can search for books, e-books, CDs, DVDs, and videos in the Library's Discovery. Begin with a keyword search and click on the title to view the entire record for that item.

• 2nd floor, Room 200: Information, Computers, Group Work Rooms, Nursing Work Room
• 2nd floor, Room 209: Library Instruction Classroom
• 3rd floor: Checkout books, Textbooks, Group Work Rooms, Single-use Work Spaces
• 4th floor entrance left: Open Floor, Performance Area, Group Work Rooms and Group Work Pods
• 4th floor, entrance right: Single use quiet-to-near silent Pods

Students must have their SAC ID in order to check out items.  If you do not have your ID, simply go to the Fletcher Administration Center room 200 A to get yours made.  You've already paid for it, so go get one.
