Zoom Advising Instructions in Navigate
- Log in to your ACES Account
- Click on the "Start Here" tab
- Select the "Alamo NAVIGATE" icon
- Click "Login"
- Select the "Appointments" tab
- Select "Schedule an Appointment"
- Select the Reason for your appointment and hit Next
- Select the Location and hit Next
- Select the Day and Time that works for you and hit Next
- Enter "Zoom Appointment" in the Notes box
- Review the selection and confirm your appointment

The SAC Advising Department will be offering virtual walk-in Advising in August on Mondays from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, Tuesdays from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm via Zoom. You can access our virtual walk-ins by selecting the appropriate link. These are not appointments and you will be let in to the Zoom room as Advisors become available and in the order that you logged in.
Certified Advisors play a vital role in the educational endeavors of students by providing a variety of advising services at key points in their academic journey. Many of these services are available via email, telephone, face-to-face contact, and online via Zoom Appointment. In addition, extended hours and weekend hours are available. These advisors provide comprehensive academic and career advising along with coaching students through academic recovery concerns such as probation and dismissal. The Advising department supports the mission of the college by proactively engaging with students to both support and facilitate optimal learning and successful attainment of their educational goals.
